Today, my wife and I enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Cantina Laredo on Royal Lane in Dallas, TX. This was a first visit for the both of us to Cantina Laredo. From the time we walked in, it more than exceeded our expectations. We were immediately greeted by a very friendly hostess and after asking to be seated in a booth we were immedately redirected to a very clean and comfortable booth by the window.
Almost immediately after sitting down, we were greeted by our waiter who provided menus and the many drink choices they offer.
My wife ordered Enchilada Camarones with a drink. When it arrived it was very large and she was unable to get it all finished.
I ordered the soup and salad lunch combo. The tortilla soup was amazing. The waiter brought a bowl with tortilla strips and then the soup separately. This made for a wonderful soup with the crunchy tortillas. As far as I am now concerned, there is no better way to enjoy tortilla soup anymore. My salad was large and extremely fresh.
With a combined price tag of approximately $25.00 this was a great deal. |
